When I close my eyes I see you here. Holding me tight and loving so sincere. I want you so bad sometimes I cry. Because being with you'd be the highest high. Minutes turn into long dull days. Some busy and others I sit here with eyes a glaze. My only expression's here on paper. My thoughts elusive like water vapor. Either we will be or will not. But for now in limbo I'm caught. Only able to dream of a love so strong. The kind you hear about in romantic songs. I know I'll find you someday. Just hope I know what you'll say. If I don't and am full of beans. Alone I'll be instead of finding another on which to lean. I will not lower my sights and settle for less. I've done that twice and my life was a mess. From one extreme to the other. If I can't have you. I'll take no other lover. I sit here alone and pray the dream comes true. When it does I'll be so happy to be with you. I'll love you forever and that's no lie. For now I'll keep on dreaming of the highest high.
