Yugi's Lair Main
New Layout for the board and expanding Lair pages. April 2, 2004 debuts the new layout for the site. To kick off the rest of the year with a lightened up atmosphere. We are going to be starting up our Yugioh The Next Generation story RP game and it will be starting in the coming weeks and hopefully stay strong throughout summer. Shade made a cool yugioh music video you can see in the Media Area linked in the sidebar. I am sure everyone has heard of by now that there is going to be a new Yu-Gi-Oh! movie out in theatres in August 2004 and if you followed the manga at all then you surely know that the manga ended poignantly in chapter 343 in early March. At first I was so moved I actually wept, which didn't surprise me because seeing the ending of something is not easy-but when it's done well it leaves you speechless. It's probably because I really feel for the characters. Thank you Kazuki Takahashi, you really created some identifiable characters whom I felt for. It was a very satisfying ending. Yet I feel it left plenty of room for future potential adventures.
I don't want to give spoilers or anything here on the current main page, soon to be added to Pamster's Piece of Mind area that I just opened with the new layout. Each month a new main page will appear here, updated throughout the month it is topside. I will also add different other piece on specific ideas and possibly relating Yugi's Lairs news and upcoming RP Story Game. I have added our friend's links on the sidebar along with one people can use to link to us here or use it pointing to the board. However they wish to use it is up to them, if you think you know of a place I should have a button from I would love to hear about it. You can post it on the board in our links forum. I only add sites I really admire that I think are unique and not out there just copying and pasting content I recognize from somewhere else without permission.
Tomorrow Saturday April 3'rd 2004, Kids WB is airing a new episode, "Escape From The Shadow Realm" and I can't wait to chat on the board about that. We have a poll up and some new members to welcome aboard. Yugi's Lair has been open for well over one year and is doing really well so if you are looking for a non-judgemental, FUN place to chat about our shared admiration of Yugioh in all it's forms. From online things made for fans by fans, and those of us who collect cards chatting about card rulings or new boosters series and other card news. A big thank you to my good friend Genie for making us a lighter background and a few more buttons for us to use. I am so pleased with the new look of the site and board. As always any feedback is welcome and thank you for coming by Yugi's Lair!
